"OUT OF THE SHADOW” Part One
Mutants have been hunted for decades. A day doesn't go by where there isn't at least one report where a mutant was attacked. One report from St. Louis details a particularly grisly execution style scene. While listening, Cable makes up his mind that it's got to stop, by any means necessary… and he knows just who can help him!
When news breaks that a high school field trip is under attack at the Grand Canyon, Cable, Domino, and Warpath teleport to the area. Attacking adult mutants is one thing, but targeting children crosses a line and Cable isn't going to stand for it! At the Grand Canyon, Everette Thomas and James Gallo are part of the field trip as Grand Canyon tour staff. After witnessing several of the teachers get butchered, they realize they are the only adults left and attempt to get the teenagers to safety. Unfortunately, their foe stands in their path. Will they be able to save themselves and the teenagers from their assailant... the X-Cutioner?

An instant later, Cable, Domino, and Warpath teleport to the scene and enter the battle. Initially shocked at seeing the X-Cutioner, Cable attacks the one near James with a vengeance that only Cable can muster, easily defeating him. The second X-Cutioner is also defeated by Domino and Warpath and is restrained. With the teenagers safe, Domino begins to unmask the first X-Cutioner Cable defeated, only to have him teleport away. However, Warpath manages to unmask the second X-Cutioner, revealing someone Cable thought he’d never see again…

“OUT OF THE SHADOWS” Part Three of Three
Under the mask is “Jenskot,” an Askani sister, Aliya Dayspring, Cable's wife... and she died in his future timeline. What is she doing here, in the 21st century, wearing an X-Cutioner's outfit? But before anyone can think to ask any questions, she disappears, vanishing into thin air! Without waiting for any more surprises, Cable teleports the entire group to the safety of his secret base. He helps James and Everette get the students back to their homes, then asks them to join him in investigating what happened at the Grand Canyon. James agrees immediately while Everette is a little more tentative to agree but eventually he does.
Meanwhile at the Grand Canyon, Sebastian Shaw congratulates his newest members of the Hellfire Club, the Grey and Black Rooks, Martinique Jason and Regan Wyngarde! After all, the two sisters had just manipulated Cable's mind, a very powerful mutant telepath in his own right, and he never even knew it!

“TYRANTS AND DICTATORS” Part One
After the episode in the Grand Canyon, Cable is convinced that it is time to go on the offensive. Reforming X-Force with former members Domino and Warpath, Cable also has two new members in the reluctant Everette Thomas and the enthusiastic James Gallo. Everette's “synching” ability earns him the codename Synch while James takes the name Ricochet because of his superhuman agility and reflexes. With his team assembled, Cable decides the team's next destination - the Pentagon!
Meanwhile, at their new Las Vegas headquarters, the newly reformed Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club meets. The Black King, Sebastian Shaw, introduces Martinique Jason and Regan Wyngarde as the Grey and Black Rooks respectively. Selene, the Black Queen, completes the Inner Circle and informs the other members of a plan to take over a small country. But for their grand plan to be successful, they must take care of the most unpredictable member of the X-Men family, Cable!
And all the while, Cable can't get Aliya's face out of his mind…

“TYRANTS AND DICTATORS” Part Two
In Cuba, Francisco Quesada, would be leader of his country, meets with a hooded woman. She promises him his country if he will help her and her friends once in power. With a handshake, an agreement is reached and the hood is pulled back revealing the mutant Candra. Smiling, she knows her membership in the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle as the new White Queen is all but assured.
In the U.S., X-Force teleports right into the heart of the Pentagon. Without a word, Cable grabs an unassuming man and shoves him in an empty office. Revealing that the man is Robert Sullivan, the Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Cable interrogates him about the increase in attacks on mutants. Sullivan reveals that the government had adapted the mutant detection software in Sentinels and installed it in a few hand held devices. The technology had been stolen and he suspects that is what's being used to subtly hunt mutants more effectively. Then Cable hears Aliya's voice, telling him to pull the trigger... and he does!

“TYRANTS AND DICTATORS” Part Three
Before anyone can stop him, Cable pulls the trigger and shoots Deputy Director Sullivan. Fortunately, Ricochet was able to move Sullivan just enough so that Cable's shot only wings him in the arm. Then the team teleports away. But the damage is done, cameras caught the team teleporting in and Cable shooting Sullivan. And in Cable's mind, Aliya nods her approval!
In Cuba, President Alfredo Gomez has been murdered. Within hours, Francisco Quesada assumes power and installs himself as President. Those who support him are rewarded while those who are against his rule mysteriously disappear. Days later, after Quesada is firmly entrenched in power, Sebastian Shaw and Candra pay him a visit. Now it's time to talk business!

“TYRANTS AND DICTATORS” Conclusion
Having kept her part of the deal to help Francisco Quesada obtain power, Candra and Sebastian Shaw now make their request of him. They want to use Cuba's land and it's mutant population to clone a Hellfire army. That army could also be used by Quesada to protect Cuba from it's own enemies. It's a win/win for everyone, how could he refuse? And he knew just the scientist to help them, the former president's brother, controversial cloning expert and geneticist, Dr. Orlando Gomez!
Having known Cable for years, Domino knows that something is terribly wrong. No medical scans reveal anything. Telepathic manipulation is the only explanation, but Cable's own powers should prevent that... right? None of the X-Men can be trusted, not with what happened at the Pentagon, so Domino contacts the only person she knows powerful enough to help Cable that she can trust - Rachel Grey!

“THE LORDS OF WAR” Part One “IT BEGINS”
Having used Em, the Hellfire Club has begun abducting mutants all over Cuba and harvesting genetic material for Dr. Orlando Gomez. Dr. Gomez, thrilled to be out of prison after being put there by his brother, is in his element. After only a few weeks, he's already made significant progress. In less than a month, the Hellfire Club and President Quesada will have their mutant army. Thousands of soldiers cloned and force grown in a matter of weeks. Tens of thousands more will be ready inside two months. Soldiers with various powers, fire, ice, and bio energy projection, telekinetics, telepaths, superhuman strength, speed, and healing. All under the control of the Hellfire Club.
Cable's mind. Only a handful of telepaths can get past his defenses to even do a surface scan, let alone plant suggestions or enter his mind completely. Rachel Grey is one such telepath. With his cooperation and at the request of Domino, she scans his mind. She finds evidence of manipulation but cannot determine by whom. Rachel helps Cable shore up his mental defenses. It's then that Rachel finds residual thoughts regarding an attack on Miami. But again, no evidence of who is attacking. That's when the team sees the news conference announcing that Cuba's government has been overthrown and the new president is Francisco Quesada. Behind him, stands Sebastian Shaw and suddenly it all makes sense.

“THE LORDS OF WAR” Part Two “THE 100”
Miami, Florida is a place of sun, sand, beautiful women, handsome men, and more recently, 100 mutants who work for Sebastian Shaw. Placed around various popular locales in Miami such as Miami Beach, the Art Deco district, South Beach, and Ocean Drive, their orders are to cause as much random violence as possible when they are given the go-ahead. Until then, they are to mingle with the populace and maintain a low profile.
Armed with knowledge of the impending attack on Miami, Cable, Rachel, and X-Force teleport to the city. Moments after their arrival, law enforcement attempt to apprehend them because of the attack at the Pentagon. Rachel, Synch, and Ricochet attempt to reason with authorities while Cable, Domino, and Warpath attempt to slip away. However, a member of the 100 spies them and decides to attack...
At an unknown location, Sebastian Shaw meets with a hooded figure. As the hooded figure gives instructions, Shaw's only response is “Yes Lord Bogan.”

“THE LORDS OF WAR” Part Three “DESTRUCTION”
All it takes is one, and when that one member of the 100 attacks, they all attack. Their targets are as random as the types of attacks. Telekinetic attacks, telepathic attacks, energy blasts, and other attacks obliterate parks, malls, stadiums, and other public places.
The two separate groups of X-Force members do all they can to protect innocent people and take out the attackers. However each time they get close to an attacker, he or she commits suicide, leaving no evidence. In a matter of minutes, it's over and the city of Miami is in shambles. Thousands are dead and while the members of X-Force are seen as heroes, X-Force realizes that they have failed.
At the Hellfire Club headquarters, Shaw details the next phase of their plan to the rest of the members. While there was mayhem in Miami, Dr. Gomez has created the perfect mutant, Blockade. Designed to take on Cable, Blockade has the ability to cancel out the powers of all mutants in an area but also siphon them and use them himself... The perfect counter to X-Force.

“THE LORDS OF WAR” Part Three “DESTRUCTION”
Sebastian Shaw considers X-Force and its leader Cable the wildest of wild cards. Of all of the X-Men's allies, Cable and his team are the ones most likely to do the unthinkable, the ones most likely to get in his way. To defeat them, Shaw must engage them on his terms, at a time when they are vulnerable... like now, in Miami. Enter Blockade.
While helping the authorities in Miami comb through the wreckage for survivors, X-Force is taken completely by surprise by an attacking Blockade. A mutant with the power to cancel out the powers around him and then use those powers is a handful. When Blockade attacks X-Force however, is he ready for the sheer telekinetic and telepathic powers Cable has at his command? And perhaps just as important, can he deal with Synch's own ability to replicate powers?

“THE BIG PICTURE”
Stopping Blockade took everything the X-Force team could muster, but it was not without cost. While Warpath, Domino, and Cable got out with bruises, cuts, and scraps, Ricochet is hurt with three broken ribs and a broken leg. Synch’s trauma is more mental. Blockade’s ruthlessness showed Synch what he could become if he reveled in his abilities.
Blockade was unable to defeat X-Force. But the Hellfire Club knew that Cable’s team could possibly defeat him. This was a test, to see if Blockade could absorb the various powers of the X-Force team and survive, notably Cable’s telekinesis and telepathy power and Synch’s syncing ability. In that respect, Blockade passed with flying colors. Now it’s time for Blockade to fulfill his destiny... and become the new body for Elias Bogan.

“THE RECKONING” Part Two
Though few know it, Elias Bogan has returned to life. No longer an old man, Bogan has set his sights on reclaiming what appears to be the vacant Lord Imperial title of the Hellfire Club. With Sebastian Shaw firmly under his control, Bogan’s only real opponent is Quentin Templeton, current Black King of the London branch. A powerful man that is resistant to telepathy, the only way to get to him is through his lover, Emma Steed, the Black Queen of the London Branch. To that end, he calls in his own White Queen, Candra.
Cable, Domino, Warpath, Synch, and Ricochet converge on Magnum’s location in Morocco. But how can you fight a man who can control the very ground on which you stand? And with thousands of innocent people in the area, is there any way to take Magnum down without a lot of collateral damage?
In Cuba, Sebastian Shaw, Martinique Jason, Regan Wyngarde, and Selene put into motion the next part of Bogan’s plan. It’s time to find the man known only as The Kingmaker.

"THE RECKONING" Part Three
From the lab of Dr. Gomez comes another mutant. This time the creation is a mutant tracker. Named Bloodhound, this mutant has the ability to track any person, once he gets their scent. Created to find The Kingmaker, Sebastian Shaw just happens to have something that once belonged to The Kingmaker, the sword Tizona. It’s off to Chile.
Nothing works against Moses Magnum. Telepathic attacks don’t work, projectiles are out of the question, and no one can get close enough to him to lay a hand on him. But when Synch decides to “sync” Magnum’s power to try to cancel him out, he finds he doesn’t have the usual level of control. In fact, he has no control at all. Now with uncontrollable seismic powers, Synch is even more of a threat to the people of Morocco than Magnum ever was.
Elias Bogan, more powerful than ever, makes Emma Steed and offer she shouldn’t refuse, her loyalty for her life. It’s an easy choice to make but to prove that loyalty, she must kill Margali Szardos. Next issue it’s the Black Queen vs. the White Queen and neither of them might survive.

THE RECKONING Part 4
In Chile, the Hellfire Club and Bloodhound easily track down the mutant known as The Kingmaker. Believed to be the figure behind some of the greatest kings and queens in history, The Kingmaker has the power to permanently augment the abilities of anyone, super-powered or otherwise. Immortal in his own right, the one thing of value was his sword, Tizona. A deal is struck, Shaw will give the sword back to The Kingmaker and in return, The Kingmaker will increase Bogan’s powers.
The battle between the London branch’s White and Black Queens is fierce and deadly, just as Bogan wanted. And just when things were about to turn bad for the Black Queen, the battle shifts to the astral plane. When it is over, the body of Margali Szardos is lifeless. But the body of Emma Steed is not without change, for now her body is vessel to the merged psyche of her and Szados, making her, the Empress. And Bogan couldn’t be happier.

Synch is out of control. Earthquakes are happening all over Morocco. None of his usual techniques help him. As the rest of team tries to help him and he begins synching their powers as well. Then he synchs Cable’s powers and suddenly, the minds of thousands of people are shouting at him.
